The Sanitation Process

How it works

Once the equipment is set up in the treatment area, the area is secured and the operator starts the sanitisation process remotely after leaving the area. Whilst the cleaning process is taking place, a notice is attached to the door of the treatment area to include start and finish times, ensuring that no one enters the space during this time.

The Ozone diffuses into the area and engulfs all exposed surfaces, penetrating hidden areas and fabric items.

The Ozone rich atmosphere is sustained for a short period of time, during which time all bacteria and other unwanted elements are destroyed. When the sanitisation process is complete, Ozone reverts back into Oxygen.

Our state of the art, powerful Ozone generator will go through 3 cycles:

  1. Ozone 3 is produced

  2. Ozone 3 santisies the area

  3. Ozone 3 is automatically destroyed by the generator

The third step is the most crucial, as this ensures that the area is safe to reoccupy as soon as the cleaning cycle has finished.

How long does it take?

To get a good idea of how long the process will take, we'll need to survey the room or property to understand it's size. A cleaning cycle could take anything from 15 minutes up to two hours per room, and each room is safe to reoccupy as soon as the cleaning cycle has finished.

How does Ozone clean the air?

Ozone is in the air around us all the time. It occurs naturally in the environment and is simply activated oxygen – think of the fresh smell following a thunderstorm and that’s Ozone.

Ozone works as a natural cleaner. When it comes into contact with an odour (a volatile organic compound) a chemical reaction takes place and the odour oxidises into a harmless, non-odourous substance. It is not a masking process – the smells are permanently removed.

Ozone also works as a natural sanitising agent. It kills most bacteria, pathogens and viruses, including E-coli and MRSA, and leaves treated areas hygienically clean.

How do we know the treated area is safe to return to after treatment?

The answer is simple, the unique cleaning cycle of the machine we use will automatically produce Ozone and using its inbuilt destruct capability; it will destroy any residual Ozone so that the area is safe. We guarantee to leave you with a clean and immediately safe space.

To make sure the environment is safe before we leave, we check the area again with a portable 03 Ozone detector.

Customer satisfaction and trust is top of our agenda
